What fab ideas! I love the Indian drawers and all the colours. I’d always be afraid of the colours clashing but you’ve given me some confidence!

Oh, I love STUFF! I’d love to say I like a minimalist space, but there’s no chance of that in my house, so I’m embracing the STUFF! Some lovely boho ideas here, lots I hadn’t considered before *slinks off to find credit card*…

Realising that I need to embrace my stuff and my clutter (to a degree!) has been so liberating for me – no more do I have to conform to a magazine perfect home!

I love the boho style, although it can sometimes look a little cluttered. That said I will definitely be adding a couple of these ideas into my next decorating project. I especially like the idea of the dreamcatchers and mandalas.

I hear you on the clutter – I like to thing of it as organised clutter! I ended up buying the dream catcher I featured in this post as it was so pretty :)

Don’t you just love when a style is YOU? It’s taken me a while to realise it. Minimalist I ain’t!

Oh I love all of those beautiful bright colours. That bright red duvet and hanging baubel strings (I think that’s what they are), look gorgeous. We’ve not long decorated our bedroom in a mixture of purples and some of this would look awesome!

Ahhh love these ideas! I’m renting and find it difficult to part with money to pain the place the way I want it (I can’t do it myself with fibro and pgp) as it costs so much… but I like to decorate around it (so to speak).

So stealing some of these ideas! <3

Decorating with fabrics, and pretty things is a great way to spice up rented accommodation… and sounds like it would be so much easier than struggling to paint for you xx

I feel really inspired after reading this post. I’ve never considered a bohemian theme before, thinking it a bit hippy-ish for my taste but I really like some of the accessories that you’ve mentioned in this post

I am sure I’m an old hippy at heart – maybe being born in the 70s has done that to me. I swear as I’m getting older I’m getting more and more chill.

I love these ideas. The bedding and cushions are gorgeous. I think I would to keep my neutral walls though and mix up the accessories!

I think that’s what I would do too – that way you can mix and match things quite easily without having to redecorate the walls!

What a timely reminder this post was. It was 3 years ago next month I went to India to travel, leaving my children for the first time to go on a solo adventure. These colours bring back so many memories of the gorgeous people, clothes and lives from this trip. I came home feeling everything was very dull and grey, so I started putting some colour into my home to bring some va va voom. I actually have very similar lighting to that and my suitcase was full of coloured throws and crystals on my return from India!
