Ingredients

  • Olive Oil
  • 1 lb 450g ground beef (beef mince)
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 Tbsp cumin
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne; may add more for more heat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 avocados
  • ½ cup sharp strong Cheddar cheese
  • 8 cherry tomatoes sliced

Instructions

  • Heat a little olive oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook beef and onion until beef is browned.
  • Add the cumin, paprika, chili powder, and cayenne. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.


    Ground Beef Taco Meat
  • Cut the avocados in half and remove the stone.
  • Remove a spoonful of the avocado from each half and set aside.
  • Fill with the ground beef taco mix, cheese, and tomatoes.
  • Spoon the leftover avocado flesh on top if desired.
