Hot Dog Mummies

These baked Hot Dog Mummies make are so easy to make, and are a great appetizer or party food for a Halloween party!

Ingredients

  • 1 320g pack puff pastry, ready-rolled
  • 16 sausages - chipolata or hot dogs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Ketchup

Instructions

  • Unroll the pastry and cut it into long, thin strips.
  • Wrap a strip of pastry around the sausage from the top to the bottom.


  • Place on a greased baking tray.
  • Brush with a little beat egg
  • Bake at 200C/400F/Gas 6 for 20-30 minutes until the pastry is golden and the sausages are cooked.
  • Squirt two ketchup eyeballs on each hot dog mummy.
  • Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
