Classic Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 4 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 2 tsp real vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup whole milk or heavy cream for a creamier frosting

Instructions

  • Cream the butter in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer until perfectly smooth.
  • Sift in the powdered sugar and continue mixing until smooth.

  • Add the vanilla and mix to combine.

  • Slowly add in the milk, one tablespoon at a time, while mixing until reaching the desired consistency.
