TOOLS

  • [Balloon Time Helium Tank]
  • Black Marker Pen
  • [Silver Marker Pen]
  • Sticky tape

Instructions

  • Inflate balloons
  • Using the character templates as a guide draw the characters onto the balloons using a marker pen. If you like you could cut the templates to form a stencil and trace around them instead. Take your time drawing the characters out as you only have one shot at getting it right!

TIP! Start drawing from the middle and work outwards to help you balance features more evenly. And even if your drawings do go a bit wonky (which mine definitely did!) it doesn't matter - the effect is still there.
  • Use a black marker and a brown or gold balloon for Chewie

    Chewbacca - Star Wars Balloons
  • Use a black marker and a gold balloon for C-3PO

    Star Wars Balloons - C3-PO
  • Use a black marker and green balloon for Yoda. Make Yoda's ears from lightweight paper - cut the ear shape and draw in the details. Stick in place with sticky tape at the back of the ears.

  • Use a silver marker and a black balloon for Darth Vader

Star Wars Balloons - Darth Vader
  • Use a black marker and a white balloon for a Stormtrooper

  • Tie ribbon to each balloon to the length you want the balloons to float and add some balloon weights if you have them or have them free-floating.
