- 6 frozen Slimming World Syn-free Sausages
- Low-calorie cooking spray
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 large carrot peeled and roughly chopped
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 L hot chicken stock
- 150 g dried macaroni or other small pasta shapes
- 400 g passata with herbs
- 1 400g can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 100 g savoy cabbage shredded
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Fresh basil to serve, optional
Cook the sausages according to the pack instructions.
Meanwhile, spray a large cooking pot with cooking spray and fry the onions, carrots, and garlic for about 5 minutes.
Add the stock and pasta and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes or until the pasta and vegetables are tender.
Slice the sausage in 6 pieces and stir into the soup with the passata, beans, and cabbage. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the cabbage has wilted.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve piping hot with fresh basil if using.

- If you can't find passata with herbs just use regular passata and add 1-2 teaspoons of dried mixed herbs instead.
- If you can't find passata, whizz up a can of tomatoes and use that with dried mixed herbs.
