112oz bag each of red, white, and blue candy melt wafers
Patriotic sprinkles of choice - starsjimmies, nonpareils
108"-10" lollipop/treat sticks or paper straws
Instructions
Press four marshmallows onto a lollipop stick or straw with a twisting motion. Lay onto a baking tray lined with wax paper.
Place the blue candy melts into a microwave-safe bowl and melt according to the package instructions. Give special care not to overheat the candy. If the candy is overheated, it will be too thick. You can add 1 teaspoon of vegetable shortening or coconut oil to help thin the candy but do not add any other type of liquid as the candy will seize and harden and be unusable. Any unused candy melts can be stored to melt and use another time.
Transfer the melted candy to a piping bag or zip-top freezer bag.
Snip the corner of the bag and drizzle melted candy over the marshmallows. Allow each color to set before adding a new color.
Follow steps 3 - 7 with the red candy and then finally with the white candy.
Add patriotic sprinkles to the marshmallow pops before the white candy layer sets.
Allow the marshmallows to rest on wax paper until set before packaging or serving.
