  • Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it steams. DO NOT let it boil!
  • Add the white chocolate chips to the warmed milk and stir until they are melted.

  • Stir in the sugar until it dissolves.
  • Add 2-3 drops of red food coloring to the pan and stir to distribute the color. Add additional drops for a deeper shade.

  • Pour the red velvet hot chocolate into two mugs.
