Monster Rice Krispies Treats

They may be called Monster Rice Krispie Treats, but they are too cute (and yummy) to be scary! The monster treats are fun to make, and you can even get the kiddos involved! Using just 5 ingredients, you can make a whole clan of these sweet monster snacks for your little monsters this Halloween!

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp butter divided
  • 10- oz 285g package mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz 285g package Halloween Ghoul’s Mix M&Ms
  • Candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Melt 3 tablespoons of the butter over low heat in a large saucepan.

  • Add marshmallows, and stir until they are fully melted.

  • Remove from heat and add cereal and M&Ms. Stir until combined.

  • All ingredients combined together
  • Butter your hands with the remaining butter, then grab handfuls of the mixture and form a ball.

  • Rolling Rice Krispie Mixture into Balls
  • Add eyeballs, and press them in slightly so they will stay put. Set on a baking sheet or tray to set.

  • You may need to re-grease your hands a time or two throughout the process so that the mixture won't stick to your hands.
