Remove backing and glass from the frames and apply a basecoat to the top half of each frame with black craft paint. Cover all sides of the frames.
Basecoat the bottom half of each frame with red craft paint. Apply a second coat, if necessary. Set aside to dry.
Create polka dots on the red half of the Minnie frame with a round sponge applicator and white craft paint. Tap the sponge gently in the paint until full and carefully bounce and twist to create random polka dots. Set aside to dry.
Trace four 2½” diameter circles onto black craft foam with a white pencil and a circle template, and then cut out with scissors. These circles will be the ears.
Glue two yellow buttons to the bottom center of one of the frames to make Mickey Mouse. Attach a craft foam ear to the back of the top right and top left corners of the picture frame, using the glue gun and glue sticks.
Measure and cut a twelve-inch length of ribbon, tie in a bow and fishtail cut the ends. Attach to the top center of the other frame with glue to make Minnie Mouse. Attach a craft foam ear to the back of the top right and top left corners of the picture frame, using the glue gun and glue sticks.
Leave the frames to dry completely before using.
Fill the Mickey and Minnie-inspired photo frames with your favorite memories of the parks! You could also personalize the frame with names and dates.
