For Salt Rim
- Lime Wedge
- Margarita or Sea Salt
For Irish Margarita
- 1 oz lime juice about 1 whole lime
- 2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
- 1 oz Tequila
- 3 oz Sweet and Sour Margarita Mix
- 1 drop of green food coloring
For Garnish
- Lime Slices
- Mint Sprigs
- Green Cherries optional
To prepare the margarita glass, rub the lime wedge around the rim of the glass, and dip the glass into a shallow plate of salt. Set the glass aside.
Place the lime juice, Jameson Irish Whisky, Tequila, sweet and sour mix, and green food coloring into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake for 15-30 seconds to combine well.
Strain into the prepared margarita glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a slice of lime, a sprig of mint, and green cherries if desired. Enjoy!
