Ingredients

  • 1 bag green candy melts sweet tooth fairy/michaels
  • 3 apples*
  • 3 large candy apple/lollipop sticks
  • Purple pearl sprinkles
  • Green pearl sprinkles
  • Small candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Prepare a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Set it aside.
  • Melt the green candy melts in a bowl as directed on the package.

    Melted Candy Melts
  • Place the stick into the apple. It's best to go a little bit on either side of the core as it can be tough to insert the stick through it.
  • Dip the apples into the bowl of melted candy, using a spoon to cover completely. They don't have to be perfectly smooth!

  • Place the candy apples onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Before the candy dries, add sprinkles and candy eyeballs around the apple. If it does dry too fast you can dip the sprinkles and candy eyeballs in melted candy with clean tweezers and place them on the apple.

    Adding Sprinkles to Candy Apples
  • Place in the fridge until ready to serve.
  • Alternatively, once set, you can wrap the candy apples in cellophane and tie them with a ribbon to make a party favor.

Notes

*Use your favorite kind of apple. Granny Smith, Fuji, Jazz, and Gala are good apples to use for candy apples.
