Graveyard Jello Cups

Slightly ghoulish but oh so good Graveyard Jello Cups are a fabulously creative addition to any Halloween party table! Makes 7 (5.5-oz) cups or 14 (2.2-oz) cups.

Ingredients

  • 1 6-oz/170g package of purpel/grape jello/jelly*
  • 7 or 14 Oreo cookies depending on cup size
  • 42 or 84 small candy eyeball sprinkles depending on cup size
  • 7 or 14 Milano cookies depending on cup size
  • 1 tube of Wilton Black Sparkle Gel Icing
  • Water

Instructions

  • Mix jello as directed on the box. If you want to add alcohol replace ½ cup of the cold water with your preferred liquor.

  • Pour the jello into 7 (5.5-oz cups) or 14 (2.2-oz cups) and place in the fridge for 8 hours to overnight to set.

  • Once the jello has set. Remove the centers of the Oreo cookies and place them into a ziplock bag. Crush them with the flat side of a kitchen mallet or rolling pin to make coarse crumbs.

  • Sprinkle the Oreo cookie "dirt" on top of each cup of set jello.

  • Add six candy eyeball sprinkles on top of the cups of jello and "dirt".
  • Take the Milano cookies and place them on a tray or plate that will fit in the freezer. Write RIP on them with the black sparkle gel icing. Place in the freezer until ready to serve.

  • When ready to serve place the Milano cookie "tombstones" into the cups. Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
