These refreshing Grapefruit Margaritas are a twist on a classic cocktail and perfect for the long hot days of summer.

Ingredients

  • Lime wedge
  • Kosher or sea salt to rim glasses
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 4 oz grapefruit juice
  • Grapefruit slices optional garnish
  • 1 oz honey or simple syrup to sweeten optional

Instructions

  • Use the lime wedge (or dab water) to wet the rim of your glass.
  • Place the salt in a shallow, wide bowl and rotate the rim of your glass in the salt.
  • Fill glass with ice.
  • Pour the Tequila into your prepared glass, followed by the Triple Sec, then top with grapefruit juice.

  • If you want a sweeter drink, add honey or simple syrup to the glass and stir.
  • Garish with a grapefruit slice. Enjoy!
