Freaky Frankenstein Cocktail

This alcoholic beverage is made with apple, and melon liqueurs and with the black sugar-rimmed glasses to serve it in, it really brings this Freaky Frankenstein Cocktail to life!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 drop black food coloring
  • 1 part Kinky Apple liqueur*
  • 1 part Melon liqueur
  • 3 parts lemon sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Place the sugar in a bowl and stir in a drop of black food coloring until the sugar turns black. Wet the rim of a glass and dip into the sugar to coat. Set aside.
  • Pour the melon, and apple liquors into another glass and stir with ice. Top up with the sparkling water and stir to combine.
  • Pour this mixture into the black sugar glass - this allows the drink to be mixed without knocking the black sugar into the glass.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

*If you can't find Kinky Apple, you can mix half part Sourz Apple and half part vodka (regular or apple-flavored) - or even a shot of each!
To make a big batch of this cocktail, as long as you use the same size measure for 1 part, the ratios will be correct. If you prefer measurements for this drink, to make 1 use:
  • 1 oz Kinky Apple
  • 1 oz Melon Liqueur
  • 3 oz lemon sparkling water
