Materials

  • Construction Paper or Cardstock in the following colors: Black Purple, Light Green, White
  • Green and Silver Glitter (optional)
  • Black String or Ribbon

TOOLS

  • White School Glue (PVA Glue)
  • Glue Stick
  • Laminator & Laminating Sheets (optional)

Instructions

  • Download and print out the Frankenstein ornament template onto corresponding colored papers or cardstock (Link in the blog post). Cut out and set aside. If the craft papers/card won't go through your printer, print on regular paper and trace around the pieces instead.
  • Add white school glue to Mickey's hair being careful not to go over the edges. Sprinkle over black glitter and tap off the excess. Leave to dry. Repeat the glue/glitter process with Minnie's hair - avoiding the white stripes. Finally, you can add silver gitter to the neck bolts.
  • When the glitter pieces are dry assemble using the pictures below as a guide. Space the ears evenly apart and stick behind the top of the head. Stick neck bolts to Mickey's head, just below the hairline. Add Minnie's hair in front of the ears at the top of her head. Stick the bow on top. You could always add purple glitter to the bow if you like!
  • Finally, form a hanging loop with a piece of string or ribbon and stick to the back of the ornament.
  • If you want, you can laminate the ornaments so that it lasts longer. Before attaching the loop, run it through a laminator and cut away the excess. Make sure you leave a slight edge as you cut it out so that the laminating sheets don't fall away! Attach loop to back.
  • Hang your Mickey Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein Minnie ornaments on your tree!
