Ingredients

granulated sugar

salt

whole milk

tsp
vanilla extract
2
cups
brandy
½
cup
rum
2
tsp
ground nutmeg
Cinnamon sticks - for garnish

Star anise - for garnish
optional
Instructions
Crack the eggs into a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer or whisk until light and fluffy.
Continue beating while gradually adding the sugar and salt. Beat until sugar is dissolved.
Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
Add brandy and rum to personal taste and stir.
Sprinkle with ground nutmeg before serving.
Can be refrigerated up to 24 hours before serving. or stored, covered, in the fridge for 6 days.
Serve in glasses sprinkled with nutmeg. Add a cinnamon stick or star anise as a pretty garnish if desired.
Notes
This recipe uses raw eggs.
