Remove the metal spring from the wooden clothespins. For each snowman, place the flat side of the clothespin back-to-back to create a body shape and glue it together with a glue gun and glue sticks. Make as many as you want! TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
Paint the front and all sides of the clothespin snowmen with white paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary
Using liquid glue with a fine-tip applicator, attach two mini googly eyes to the top center of each clothespin snowman. Set aside to dry. TIP: Some googly eyes are self-adhesive, but you may wish to strengthen the bond with glue.
To create the carrot noses, paint the tips of toothpicks with orange paint, and let them dry. Cut ½” of the pointy end off with scissors. Attach the carrot noses to the snowman faces using liquid glue with a fine-tip applicator.
To create scarves for the snowmen, measure and cut pipe cleaners into 4” lengths. Wrap and twist around the neck of the snowman, then arrange the ends to the left or the right.
To create the earmuffs, measure and cut a silver tinsel pipe cleaner to 1” long. Bend into a “U” shape and glue to either side of the snowman head. Attach pom poms over the cut end of each stem using a glue gun and glue sticks.
Finish the clothespin snowmen by placing two self-adhesive rhinestones on the snowman body as buttons.
