I used to make that a lot, but not anymore since in The Netherlands those long tubes of hollow macaroni are not sold anymore, anywhere.
For me pastitsio should be with those hollow macaronis to be the real thing…

Guess I could make it with those butterfly or twisted macaroni but it wouldn’t be the same!
