Let’s take a character break! Between two of the Pavilions – I forget which two now, but towards the back of World Showcase, is an area, hidden by a sliding gate. Random characters can appear here – and it was truly random this time around with King Louie; Smee (Peter Pan); Pooh (we didn’t get a photo with him though – too long a line); Wendell (one of the Country Bears, and not as terrifying as he looks!!); Honest John (from Pinocchio); and finally, the main man, mouse himself- Mickey!

I have to say it’s probably the most eclectic of characters we’ve ever met at the same time!

I’ve not shared any photos of the actual Food & Wine Booths in this post, so here are two of the ones we visited today – Scotland and Morocco – as well as the one in China, and a photo of The Temple of Heaven in the China Pavilion.  We also had food from Italy, and some booze from France!

I’m sorry to not have gone into more detail about all of the various dishes that we tried on this day. On our first year of the Festival, we recorded our thoughts so that I would have them for my trip reports – we should have done that again this year!

That said, looking back at the pictures, I do remember that Pork Tenderloin at the Wine & Dine Studio being delicious, and the boozy slush in France – delish! The hummus fries in Morocco we awesome – such a strange item – who’d have though to fry a dip?!

All in all, a good food filled day at Epcot Food & Wine Festival. I’m not sure why we didn’t stay for the fireworks, perhaps we had other plans, or just wanted to hang out back out our Resort for the evening.

Day 19 is a day at Animal Kingdom – we meet back up again with my brother and his girlfriend and had a great day! I hope my pictures are not as bad – it’s making me sad looking back at them and seeing how many I missed the focus on.
