I am such a nosey moo, and this TMI meme that I was tagged in by Aby over at You Baby, Me Mummy is one that satisfies my curiosity in finding stuff out about people!  TMI, in case you weren’t aware stands for Too Much Information…as a blogger, I can never share enough, but answering the following questions might help you to know me a little bit better!

1. What are you wearing?
I’m wearing black leggings and a purple top.

2. Ever been in love?
I found my true love in my husband ♥

3. Ever had a terrible break-up?
Sadly, the answer to this is also yes. The split from my son’s dad wasn’t not a good one. It took me 2 years to get over it…but looking back now, it’s the best thing we did. We get along better now that we aren’t a couple, and we are able to be in the same room without wanting to shout and scream and scream at each other!

4. How tall are you?
I was measured at a doctor’s appointment once and was told I am 5′ 3″, I don’t believe this, I always thought I was 5′ 4″

5. How much do you weigh?
I’m 16lbs lighter than I was at the start of the month – that’s all anyone needs to know!

6.  Any Tattoos?
Nope – I love them on other people though…well, some people. They’re just not for me.

7. Any piercings?
My ears, which I had done when I was 9 years old. I rarely wear earrings these days though because they irritate my ears too much.

8. OTP?
Had to search for this one, and Urban Dictionary tells me “One True Pairing. Meaning the your favorite combination of characters in a fandom.” For me, it has to be The Doctor and Rose.

9. Favourite show?
I don’t watch much TV these days, but the show for me at the moment is The Walking Dead. I’m not a horror genre fan at all, but love this show! I am fascinated by the way everyone has to deal with this post apocalyptic world, and it’s not really about the walkers (zombies) but about the living that have to survive in a strange new realm. I also love Friends (yes, still!), Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, The Simpsons and Charmed…among lots of others!

10. Favourite bands?
Bon Jovi is definitely number one for me when it comes to bands – love, love, LOVE them! Seen them several times live and they are the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I can’t let this question go by without mentioning Darren Hayes (ex Savage Garden), his voice and songs send me over the edge.

11. Something you miss?
There are people in my life who are no longer with us, and I wish they were. AndI still miss my beloved cat Holly who died, wow, 5 years ago :(

12.  Favourite song?
Argh, what are you doing to me with these questions?! How can I answer that? I have way too many favourites…but go on then, if I have to pick…Bloodstained Heart by Darren Hayes. Please listen to it, it’s too awesome not to be heard.

13.  How old are you?
37… edging closer to 40 *cries*

14.  Zodiac sign?
Virgo

15.  Quality you look for in a partner?
Honesty and humour

16.  Favourite quote?
I’m building a website for a client, and she’s a writer. She writes some truly inspirational things, and as I was organising her site this morning, I came across one of her quotes, which has to be one of the wisest things I’ve read in a long time…

17.  Favourite Actor?
Johnny Depp…I’ve loved him as an actor since the early 90s when he was in 21 Jump Street. Oh, and he’s sex on a stick, so, yeah…

18.  Favourite colour?
I think everyone who reads my blog knows it’s PURPLE!

19. Loud Music or soft?
Loud. Always loud!

20.  Where do you go when you are sad?
Into myself…

21.  How long does it take you to shower?
I’m superfast in the shower – about 5 minutes, even with washing my hair! Something about being a mum teaches you to get ready really quickly!

22.  How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Not long – depends what I’m doing really. If I know I’m not going out then I generally don’t bother to blow dry my hair or put makeup. I work from home, so that can be most days :P Make up takes about 5 minutes, and drying my hair takes ages because my hair dryer is crap and needs replacing.

23. Ever been in a physical fight?
I’ve hit someone, but don’t think I’ve been in an actual fight.

Kisses

Bad breath

26.  The reason I started blogging?
Read my first ever post and find out!

Cancer and dementia

28.  The last thing that made you cry?
Frustration

29.  The last time you said you loved someone?
To both my son and husband this morning as they went out to school and work, respectively.

30.  Meaning behind your blog name?
My favourite colour is purple (see Q.18) and I have a weird obsession with pumpkins!

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World

32.  The book you are currently reading?
I don’t read much these days – I really should, as I used to love reading when I commuted to work, and whilst waiting for my son to come out of school…I just don’t seem to find the time anymore  :(

33.  Last show you watched?
Family Guy

34.  Last person you talked to?
Hubs on his way out to work. Most days I don’t talk to anyone else! It can be lonely working from home.

35.  The relationship between you and the last person you texted?
One of my clients.

36.  Favourite food?
Uhm…another hard one to pick! But I always say, if I had to eat one food for the rest of my life it would be my nan’s macaroni pie.

37. Place you want to visit?
If I won the lottery, I would drop everything and travel around the world! There are so many places that I would love to go. Top of the list has to be Tokyo, Japan – it’s like the FUTURE over there!

38.  The last place you were?
At my weight management consultants house, yesterday morning.

39.  Do you have a crush?
Daryl from The Walking Dead… or The 10th Doctor… or Rick from The Walking Dead… or The 11th Doctor… I’m sad, I know lol. Also, Johnny Depp, ahem, and Darren Hayes…I’m not a teenager, honestly!

40.  Last time you kissed someone?
Hubs this morning before he went to work.

41.  Last time you were insulted?
Hmm…I try not to think about insults directed to me. It’s their problem and not mine.

42.  Favourite flavour of sweet?
Anything fruity. I love pear drops!

43.  What instruments do you play?
I used to play the violin when I was younger. I could probably still play one now if you gave one to me.

44.  Favourite piece of jewellery?
My engagement and wedding rings ♥

45.  Last sport you played?
I did Zumba this morning – does that count?

46.  Last song you sung?
Bloodstained Heart (see Q.12) as I played it whilst writing this post.

I haven’t got one!

48.  Have you ever used it?

49.  Last time you hung out with anyone?
My sister and niece floated over last Sunday and we had a lovely few hours chilling out in the garden.
