Step Back In Time Linky #2

Step Back In Time on The Purple Pumpkin Blog - Linky

I created this linky and dubbed it Step Back In Time – a chance for you to share a photograph and story of your social history…and I don’t mean how long you’ve been on Twitter or Facebook! You can read all about why I started this linky here.

What do I link up?

A blog post with a photograph from your personal history – your childhood, your parents, your grandparents…beyond?! Along with a few lines (or more if you like!) about the memories and story behind the photograph.

What day does Step Back In Time start?

This linky starts on the last Thursday of each month and lasts for one month. This month’s Step Back In Time ends on 27th May 2015.

How many links can I add?

You can add as many as you like – as long as they all relate to the subject of Step Back In Time and your social history. You can add new or old posts.

How do I add a link?

I use Inlinkz to host my linkies, and it’s easy to link up. Scroll to the bottom of this post and you’ll see a blue “Add your link” button. Click on that and follow the onscreen instructions.

Do I have to visit other links?

A linky is all about sharing – so it would be great if you could visit at least 2 other blog links – if you’d like to visit more, then please do! Perhaps share the post on your favourite social media platform(s) and/or leave a comment to let the blogger know you stopped by! Sharing is caring after all ♥

Is there a hashtag?

Indeed there is – use #StepBackInTime or #SBIT to let everyone know about it and so we can all follow along and grow a community of blogger’s social histories! If you mention me on Twitter [@MsPurplePumpkin] and I’ll retweet your post too!

Do you have a button I can put on my blog?

Feel free to copy the HTML code from the box below to paste it into your Step Back In Time blog post.

I’m really looking forward to this linky and reading everyone’s posts. I just love looking at old photographs and learning the stories behind them! I hope you enjoy taking part too!
