A holiday to Walt Disney World is not just about the theme parks and rides, but also about the food! I’m not talking about full meal at one of the 100+ Disney restaurants at the resort, in this post, but about the snacks at Walt Disney World – of which there are hundreds!
There are snacks to suit all tastes and budgets, and if you’re on a Disney Dining Plan, you are entitled to one free snack credit per day (two on the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan!). Wherever you see this symbol (to the left) you can redeem a credit for a snack. In general, items that are $5 or less are a snack credit, with some exceptions. They must be a single serving (so no boxes of doughnuts for example) and souvenir containers are not included either.
There are lists and articles all over the Disney blogs online: which ones are the best, which ones you shouldn’t miss, top tens, snacks at certain parks, at certain resorts. There are sweet snacks, salty snacks, savoury snacks, cupcakes, baked goods, fruit and salads (they exist at WDW!), cookies, candy, drinks… there are so many snack options at Walt Disney World, it’s impossible to begin covering them all!
I need to make this post quick, so I’m just sharing photos of the different snacks we’ve bought over the years, as well as photographs of some snacks for sale. Personal favourites are the larger images, with the rest in photo galleries. Some of the snacks we buy are brought home as gifts – it’s a great way to use up leftover snack credits!
