Another Year Over | Project 52 : 2016 – Week 52
Home » Photography »Here we are, at the end of my photography year, and week 52 of Project 52. I have got mixed feelings about this project. It has forced me to take photographs, even when I’ve not really wanted to, but they certainly haven’t been the best photographs I could have taken. I have just a day or so to decide if I want to continue Project 52 into 2017, revert back to Project 365, or just skip a year. I think I’ll regret it if I do that. My mum suggested Project 12 – one a month – but for me, they would have to be super duper, absolutely fan-effing-tastic for that. And I’m not sure I can handle that pressure that I would put on myself!
I guess we’ll all find out on January 1st what I decided to do!
If you’ve been following along on my project, thank you for taking the time to look at, and hopefully enjoy my photographs for the past year. If you’ve been doing your own photography project – 52, 365, or otherwise, I hope it went as planned for you. Will you be continuing on?

I enjoyed Project 365 – taking a photo a day – for 5 years : 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015, and decided to take a break in 2016. I couldn’t give up on a photography project completely, so I’ve decided to partake in Project 52 – a photo a week for one year. If you need ideas, tips, and inspiration, please check out my photographs, or the ideas and tips in the links below.

Just a suggestion – if you feel that taking one a month is still likely to
put you under pressure, which you don’t really need, then maybe one per Season. That way you could take photographs anytime you feel you want to and then decide, at the end of that particular Season, which one you consider you like best. Also as the weeks run by you may find yourself in a variety of locations during any particular Season thus giving you more scope to enjoy taking photographs rather then feeling you “have to” just for the sake of it.

I do find my photos are quite seasonal when taking them daily – which is what I’ve now decided to do! So it’s back to Project 365 for this year :)
