Narnia | Project 365 : 2017 – Day 6
Home » Photography »It was absolutely freezing when I went out for a quick walk this morning! I’m not a fan of the cold at all. I do love taking photos of ice (and snow when we get it). I’m not so nimble these days that I can get down low and up close to take photos of the ice crystals, so I’m thankful for my zoom lens! I spotted this random oak leaf amongst the grass – the colour of it really stood out.
If anything is going to spur me on to lose weight it’ll be my love of photography. I am already missing that I can’t just walk for ages to take photographs, or that I can’t crouch down without my knees wobbling, and nearly falling over! I’m feeling more upbeat as the days go past, and really hoping that I can continue channelling this positive energy throughout the coming months.

I’ve been taking part in Project 365 – a photo a day for one year, since 2011. I took a break in 2016, but couldn’t leave the photography project behind completely, and so did Project 52 – a photo a week for one year. I decided at the very last moment, that I would come back to Project 365 for 2017, because I have missed it more than I realised! The project, over the years, has not only helped to improve my photography, but it also became an daily photo diary. I love looking back and remembering the days of the year(s) gone by, and that is one of the biggest things I missed at the end of 2016,
I have quite the archive of photos on my blog, which you can take a peek at below.
