We took our Christmas tree and all the festive decorations today. It took most of the morning – I hadn’t realised how many decorations we had! I am always a little bit sad when they come down, because I love our Christmas decorations, and everything looks so bare without them. However, we are planning on some redecorating, so we have that to look forward to.
I didn’t get out today, which is very annoying; but have been up and about more at home. I’m in quite a lot of pain today, and not looking forward to tomorrow when I’m all by myself again. With hubby back at work, and my son back at college, the house is going to feel quiet and lonely. I’m challenging myself to go to the park on my own for a little walk. That is going to be one big step for me, but I know I have to take it.
I’ve been taking part in Project 365 – a photo a day for one year, since 2011. I took a break in 2016, but couldn’t leave the photography project behind completely, and so did Project 52 – a photo a week for one year. I decided at the very last moment, that I would come back to Project 365 for 2017, because I have missed it more than I realised! The project, over the years, has not only helped to improve my photography, but it also became an daily photo diary. I love looking back and remembering the days of the year(s) gone by, and that is one of the biggest things I missed at the end of 2016,
I have quite the archive of photos on my blog, which you can take a peek at below.
