Baby feets are the best!!!! When my son was a bubba I didn’t think back then (18 years ago!) to take photos of the little details – fingers, feet, his little button nose… plus I didn’t have the luxury of a digital camera back in 1999, so 24 or 36 exposures were precious and I wanted to capture his face!
I took 100 photos of Leo yesterday alone – now, in my defence, I use burst mode on my camera, so I end up with 2 or 3 of the same shot just to make sure I get what I want, but you see the difference already! It’s a blessing and a curse though – tens, hundreds, and thousands of photos to go through and edit can be a nightmare!
Anyways, I put this photo up, with the title on my Facebook, as always, and my dad sent me a text from hospital saying “the plural of feet is feet, not feets!” I’m like dad, I know dude, it’s just my cute way of saying feet. FEETS!
I’ve been taking part in Project 365 – a photo a day for one year, since 2011. I took a break in 2016, but couldn’t leave the photography project behind completely, and so did Project 52 – a photo a week for one year. I decided at the very last moment, that I would come back to Project 365 for 2017, because I have missed it more than I realised! The project, over the years, has not only helped to improve my photography, but it also became an daily photo diary. I love looking back and remembering the days of the year(s) gone by, and that is one of the biggest things I missed at the end of 2016,
I have quite the archive of photos on my blog, which you can take a peek at below.
