Today has been one of those days that I have not stopped! It feels good to be busy and productive again. I didn’t go for a walk, despite promising myself that I must. Going to the park on my own is a step too far for me at the moment, so I’m save that for the weekend, when Steve is home, and do some indoor walking instead until my confidence is back.
This photo was taken at the weekend when we went for a walk at Bedfords Park. It was spitting with rain a bit – which is what I think those spots on the image are! I actually didn’t notice them, until just now. Amazing what your brain filters out! This image is quite typical for me. You will often see photos of bare (or nearly bare) tree branches in the winter months, because I love the shapes that they create.
I’ve been taking part in Project 365 – a photo a day for one year, since 2011. I took a break in 2016, but couldn’t leave the photography project behind completely, and so did Project 52 – a photo a week for one year. I decided at the very last moment, that I would come back to Project 365 for 2017, because I have missed it more than I realised! The project, over the years, has not only helped to improve my photography, but it also became an daily photo diary. I love looking back and remembering the days of the year(s) gone by, and that is one of the biggest things I missed at the end of 2016,
I have quite the archive of photos on my blog, which you can take a peek at below.
