Our Weekend at Romney Sands, Kent [Trip Report, Part 4]
Home » Ad »There’s not much verbal story to tell about our morning on the beach! So I’m going to do what I do best and tell the story with photographs! As it was so windy, there were lots of wave breaks, which gave me something new to photograph!
As the wind picked up even more, and the blowing sand was starting to actually sting, we went back to the caravan. Sephy had some lunch, before we packed up the cars to leave. We decided to drive down to Dymchurch, which was just a few miles away, to check out what was there, and because my mum said her and dad took us there when we were children and she remembered it being a beautiful beach.
As far as our weekend in the caravan was concerned, we all had a fab time, and it was a great base to start from if we were there for longer. There is the nearby Romney Marshes and a nature reserve at Dungeness.

I love beaches, and beach photographs always look good – the lighting is so amazing!

The lighting does help! Unless of course it’s a cold, grey day :D
