Wow, I’m actually blogging this review on the day that I receive my graze box *shock*, and since these posts seem to be very popular (judging by my stats) I will continue to share them with you :) A couple of repeated punnets this week – but to be expected I guess. Perhaps I should go and have a play with the “send this now” filters on graze to sample some of the other things!
A nice balance this week – 2 savoury, 2 sweet…
First up, lemon and rosemary pitted beldi and coquillas nicoises olives which I first sampled in week 4. I didn’t like them as much this time around – the olives tasted a little on the sour side, which was a shame, since I enjoyed them a lot last time. 129 calories for the punnet.
Last time I had those olives, I received a crunchy snack. The same happened this time and was called pomodoro rustichella – a mix of cheese croutons (although I couldn’t taste cheese!), tomato, basil and oregano almonds (delish) and mini tomato breadsticks. This was a tasty mix of crunchy treats, which I munched along with my olives. Yum, expecially the almonds. A total of 115 calories for the punnet.
On to my sweet treats for this week. This dried figs, cranberry and apple mix was amusingly named little figgy went to market…he should have stayed there…blargh! Did not like this 95 calorie punnet at all. I’m not a big fan of dried figs – fresh ones yes, dried, nope, so that probably did help my feelings towards this particular snack. One to mark as ‘bin’ over at graze!
Finally, the other repeat punnet – coffee and walnut cake for 150 calories. I’m pretty sure that this one is one of the highest calorie punnets in this ‘light box’ range. After looking back at my reviews, spookily I also had these when I got the aforementioned olives. *cue twilight zone music* The best part of this punnet is the chocolate covered coffee beans. The other ingredients – walnuts, sponge pieces and jumbo raisins all go nicely together, but the raisins were a bit meh today, and walnuts I can take or leave. This one stays, simply because of those roasted coffee beans!
A total of 489 calories for this box – since I tend to eat this as my lunch for this day, it doesn’t feel so bad to have this weekly treat. If you want to try out graze for yourself, keep scrolling to get the link!
