One of the key reasons that people drink alcohol is for the Buzz, and so, as part of  #DryJanuary and the BRITA Boost Challenge, it was arrange for those of us taking part to hit up an early morning rave in London called Morning Glory, on 22nd January. (I’ve written about 2 [of the 5] reasons – taste and relax) As it turns out, I woke up feeling very unwell on the Tuesday and knew that it was unlikely that I would be able to make it – much to my annoyance, so I sent my sister in my place! I wanted to bring the experience here to my blog as it was part of the challenge! Does that all make sense? Hope so!

My sister got to Hoxton early in the morning, like 7am or something ridiculous, with her husband to go to Morning Glory, not really being sure what to expect!

I described it to her as a rave…in the morning…and that’s pretty much what it was! A selection of dance tracks, a yoga area, a smoothie bar, a place to get changed (and head off to work afterwards!) and even a goodie bag to take away with you.

Yeah, I’m pretty gutted I couldn’t make it, and she said she felt so energised afterwards – even after the early start. I do agree that exercise first thing in the morning really does set you up for the day. As I work from home I try and get my Zumba in before the clock strikes 9am! I always feel much better for it!
