I’ve not used royal icing on Rice Krispie treats before so couldn’t say for sure. But the icing shouldn’t take more than a day to harden, if not sooner – so my guess is they should be fine? I mean, I buy them from Walt Disney World in packages and they can’t all be freshly made on that day right?
