Haunted Mansion is a ride at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. There is also Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland. Wikipedia gives lots of information about all the differences between the rides at the Disney parks and is well worth a read! We’ve been on the ride in both Orlando and in Paris.
As you can see, the lines for this ride are l-o-n-g, however, we always felt that the queue moved along fairly quickly at Walt Disney World. In Paris that’s another matter entirely – the line took forever…! It’s worth the wait though, as it’s a fun ride, with awesome special effects and the line area is well themed with lots of things to look at. Make sure you read the tombstones, and take a look at Madame Leota’s face carving on hers…
Once inside the Haunted Mansion you climb aboard a Doom Buggy for a supernatural journey through the chambers of the mansion. There are 999 ghostly inhabitants including The Ghost Host, who is your guide; Madame Leota who is conducting a séance and watch out for the Hitchhiking Ghosts at the end of the ride, make sure that they don’t leave the mansion with you!
I don’t have any photographs of the inside of the ride, but if you look online there are bound to be lots – although, with the holograms and spooky goings-on, you just can’t get a sense of this ride through photos alone! We can’t wait to tour through the Haunted Mansion very soon!
I hope that you enjoyed reading about the Haunted Mansion – have you been on this ride?
