As regular readers of my blog will know, for the past few months I’ve been writing weekly reviews of my graze box (this is my most recent review), and unfortunately, for the time being, that will be my final review as I’m giving them up for a few months. Not because I don’t like them, but because I need a break from them and because I want to focus 100% on my diet. I know you’ll understand, and I hope to be back to reviewing them in the future.
Before I put my graze boxes on hold though, I was invited to try out the new Graze Breakfast Club, where, once a month you are sent 4 different porridge mixes. Here is what I received:
The breakfast box contained 4 punnets of porridge oats mixed with other ingredients as well as a side of honey to pour over the top.
I received cherry & almond, walnut & pecan, blackcurrant & cranberry and hazelnut & flame raisins. The weights of each one varied between 39g and 48g.
They were very easy to make in that you pour the mix into a bowl, add one and a half punnets of milk and microwave for 2 minutes. Then pour over the honey if so desired.
All of them were very nice. I especially enjoyed the cherry and almond one.
However, whilst fab for convenience – you could grab one of these in the morning if you’re in a rush for work, and then cook at work (if, of course your workplace has such facilities!), I don’t think, even at £2.99 they are as good value as the graze boxes. When I think I could buy a huge bag of oats for about a pound, and then add my own fruits and nuts, for cheaper I could make up my own boxes (if I was so organised!) and have them ready.
However, for some people these would be ideal!
It’s been great fun receiving my graze boxes and reviewing them on my blog – look out for them again in the future when I start receiving them again!
