Eerie Eyeball Fruit Punch

I threw a Halloween Party at the weekend and wanted to share some of the food and drink recipes with you before Crafty October comes to an ends for another year.

I know I’m sharing this on All Hallow’s Eve, so it may be a bit late for your festivities this year, but there is always future Halloween parties to be had!

The recipe is really easy – it’s just a whole bunch of different fruit juices mixed with some lemon lime soda, lots of ice, and of course floating eyeballs!

The eyeballs are made using tinned lychees and blueberries and give a eerie edge to this fruit punch!

I’ve got a pumpkin shaped drinks dispenser which is what I served this eyeball fruit punch in, but you could also serve from a regular drinks dispenser (I have so many, I love them for parties!) or from jugs/pitchers.

I added a lot of ice to the punch so that would help the lychee and blueberry eyeballs to float on top for everyone to see. But you could also skewer them onto cocktail sticks and serve on the glass.

I served this punch non-alcoholic, but you could spike it if you wanted to with spirits such as Vodka, Dark Rum, Spiced Rum, Bacardi, Malibu, or Peach Schnapps. Just add what you feel is an appropriate amount! Alternatively, you could allow guests to spike their own glass of punch with their spirit of choice.

Halloween comes but once a year, but it’s lasts the whole month on the Purple Pumpkin Blog with my annual series – Crafty October!

Back in 2012 when I first started this series, I shared a Halloween craft every day in October – which is where the name Crafty October came from. Over the years the series has evolved into more than crafts, with me sharing recipes, free printables, pumpkin carving templates, party ideas and more! I do sometimes sneak in some Autumn themed stuff too!

I do have some new stuff to share this year – yay! – but will also be sharing lots of roundups of ideas as well. I wish I could do it all, but these days, I just can’t… but my vision for this blog is to think up the ideas so that you don’t have to!
