I had planned on making these Easy Cinnamon Rolls for my sister’s Bridal Brunch a few weeks back, but didn’t get around to it…I had bought all the ingredients though, so instead, made them for dessert at our Late Summer Barbecue.

They turned out great, and we so quick and easy to make! So if you need that little Cinnabon fix (which is what I needed!), and don’t have time to wait for dough to rise, give these a try :D

To make them, you’ll need…

  • a can (or two) of ready made croissant dough (I used Jus-Rol)
  • Cinnamon
  • Light Brown Sugar
  • Icing Sugar
  • Maple Syrup

I haven’t given quantities, because, I didn’t measure either!

I don’t have a photo of the first step as my camera skills were quite lame and the only photo I took was way too blurry to use here. All you have to do, is pop open the cans of dough, and unfurl them. They will probably come apart at the ‘seams’, so you kind of smoosh the edges back together and roll gently with a pin to get one big sheet of dough.

Then, sprinkle over some brown sugar, then some cinnamon and roll up like a Swiss roll. Cut into pieces and pop into greased muffin tins.

Bake for about 10 minutes until risen and golden (follow the can instructions, and keep an eye on them so they don’t burn!) And your Easy Cinnamon Rolls are ready!

Now of course, you want some frosting on top right? Well, that’s easy to make too…put a few tablespoons of icing sugar into a bowl, mix with a little water and maple syrup to make your frosting! Pour over your warm cinnamon rolls and eat immediately!!!

Enjoy!
