A Weenie is what Walt Disney and his Imagineers called the iconic structures or focal points in each of the Disney parks and lands. They are big enough to be seen from a distance and interesting enough to draw you closer for a better look. Examples would be Spaceship Earth, Space Mountain, Big Thunder, The Sorcerer’s Hat, The Tree of Life and all the wonderful castles to name a few. – Deb, Focused on the Magic
Now that you know what a Disney Weenie is, here are the main four from each of the Walt Disney World parks, and one of my favourite things to take photographs of on every trip to the World! I really cannot decide which one is my favourite – I love them all for different reasons! And I know that I will never tire of taking photographs of them :D
Magic Kingdom – Cinderella Castle
Animal Kingdom – Tree of Life
Hollywood Studios – Sorcerer’s Hat
Epcot – Spaceship Earth
Which Disney Weenie is your favourite?
