After eating our (melty!) ice cream on the Boardwalk, we headed back to the car to drive to Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villas.

We visited Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village (a DVC Resort) first. The lobby here is much smaller than the one over at Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, and the tree was smaller too. Both had great African themed ornaments and decorations, and again, another favourite theme of tree of mine.

One thing I love about the Animal Kingdom Resorts is all of the decor and artifacts that you’ll find all around the resort. It’s like a mini-museum and art gallery!

We then headed over to Jambo House, which I LOVE. It’s one of my favourite Disney Resort Hotel lobbies (Wilderness Lodge is my number 1!) and I was looking forward to seeing the Christmas Tree here. I was not disappointed, it was beautiful! And it was huge, early touching the ceiling!

I have to apologies for the out of focus photos for many of the decorations, I had the aperture set completely wrong, and didn’t realise till it was too late (i.e., back home in the UK and going through my pictures).

After a busy afternoon of resort hopping and admiring lots of different Christmas trees and decorations, we made our way home to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to chill out for a bit and freshen up for dinner in the evening at Maya Grill.
