We spent a little more time around Disney’s Hollywood Studios where we saw Captain Phasma and the March of the First Order down Hollywood Boulevard.

We took a stroll down Sunset Boulevard to see Tower of Terror, and popped into several shops along the way, because merchandise and buying pins is always top of my list of things to do!

And we then said goodbye to the park and headed home to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (SSR).

Back at SSR, we headed back to our room to chill out for a bit before headed out for a walk around the (huge) resort, which is especially lovely in the evenings.

We also grabbed some dinner from the resort’s quick-service location – The Artist’s Palette. They have a good selection of different foods, from pizza to sandwiches to salads, and a range of sweet treats and grab and go items.

Course…

Me: Saratoga Salad with Chicken – Chicken, Mixed Field Greens, Dried Blueberries and Cranberries, Apples, Spiced Walnuts, Crispy Ciabatta Croutons, and Lemon-Poppy Seed Dressing ($10.99)

Steve: Caprese Thin Crust Pie – Tomatoes, Buffalo Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Olive Oil, Roasted Garlic, and Balsamic Reduction ($10.99)

I do love a Disney salad, they come up with some awesome combinations! The pizza was a bit heavy on the balsamic reduction, but otherwise it was good.

There is another item listen on our bill for a Roast Panini with Chips for $10.49, but I don’t seem to have any photos of it, nor a description of what it was… so that’s a pass on whatever that was!

Dessert…

Me: Briar Rose Gold Cupcake – Chocolate Cupcake with Strawberry Buttercream ($5.99)

Disney known how to make stunning cupcakes, and this Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty’s non-princess name) one is just gorgeous. It tasted so good too – even if it was heavy on the frosting! They’re always big enough to share.
