…Continued from Part 1…
After “paying” our bill (a touch of our Magic Band to the machine) and charging our server’s tip to our room, we headed out into the hot Florida sun and headed towards Adventureland.
We had an FP+ for Jungle Cruise later in the afternoon, but as we passed by, we saw the wait was 10 minutes, so decided to join the line. We’ve never done this ride before, and I thought it was highly amusing. The driver of our boat was very sarcastic and dry, which I’m sure is part of the act, and she kept us all laughing. Loved the themeing around the ride and glad we finally got to do it.
You ever see that photo doing the rounds of the “happiest elephant on the planet”? Well, it’s from this ride!!
We wanted to try and collect lots of pressed pennies this year, as we had started quite the collection on our previous visit. There was a machine just as you come off Jungle Cruise, so we grabbed the change purse that we had from last year full of pennies and quarters, and got cranking!

We love collecting them – the machines are all over Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, KSC. It’s remembering to have a stack of quarters and pennies on you, so you don’t have to worry about finding somewhere to get change :D
