The Four Resorts, Two Festivals 2019 Trip Report Index tells you a bit about the planning of this trip, as well as some info about us – me, Michelle; and my husband, Steve. It also, of course, has the full list of days for the trip.
Day 15: Travel Day: MCO – LGW
Magic Kingdom; Lunch from Casey’s Corner
March 9, 2019
It might be the day we fly home, but there is still plenty of time to visit a Disney Park for some final Disney Magic!
We checked out of Disney’s BoardWalk Villas and left our luggage with Bell Services so we could go to Magic Kingdom for a few hours.
We drove under the Magic Kingdom sign just before 11am, and were soon inside the theme park.
We were just in time to watch Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire (now called Mickey’s Magic Friendship Faire) – the show performed on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle.
It does appear several times throughout the day, so don’t worry if you miss it, as you should be able to catch it at another time!
The show features a variety of Disney characters including Tiana and Friends, Rapunzel and Flynn, as well as Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.
With the show over, Steve went to grab us some lunch from Casey’s Corner, while I took some photos of the mini character statues around the hub.
For a quick lunch on Main Street USA, you can’t beat a hot dog, or even better, the mini corn dogs, from Casey’s Corner!
More on that after the photos of the mini statues…
Casey’s Corner » Magic Kingdom
Us: Footlong Macaroni & Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog – Topped with Macaroni & Cheese and Bacon ($12.49)
Us: Corn Dog Nugget Meal – Served with French Fries ($8.49)
I don’t seem to have a receipt for this meal, so I’ve used prices from an image of the menu board I found online. As always, prices may be out of date, and check the Disney website for up-to-date pricing.
The food at Casey’s isn’t going to win any awards, but for quick theme park grub it’s often our go-to!
