Day 14: Spring Time! / Four Resorts, Two Festivals 2019
Home » Travel » Day 14: Spring Time! / Four Resorts, Two Festivals 2019 »There was plenty of Disney art around the World of Disney store, either for display purposes or to purchase.
Art is often on the pricier side too sadly, there are so many pieces that I see that I would LOVE to hang at home!
We then wandered into Disney Pin Traders where I picked up some more pins for my collection – the set of pins from Emperor’s New Groove pictured below, which are just awesome!
And the picture after that is of all the pins that I bought on this particular trip.
Disney pins are definitely my obsession when it comes to Disney merch! I have hundreds of them in my collection now and have them displayed on pinboards in my living room. They make me so happy to look at them!
Disney’s Days of Christmas
If Disney Pins are my year-round obsession, Disney Christmas ornaments are my seasonal obsession!
A trip to Disney Springs would not be complete without a visit to and a purchase (or several) from Disney’s Days of Christmas!
As the name suggests, it’s full of Christmas ornaments and decorations and I am in heaven here.
Over the years we have built up quite the Disney-decorated Christmas tree, and I just love to browse around this store.
The hard part is deciding which ornaments to add to our collection. But one, we will ALWAYS buy is the annual ornament with the year on it.
We actually bought the 2019 ornament with Chip ‘n’ Dale on top from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge when we stayed there at the start of this trip, but I’ll pop a photo of it (on my tree) here, along with a bunch of other photos of ornaments from Disney’s Days of Christmas.
Florida Snow Company Cart
After all that shopping we needed a drink… and a snack… so we stopped first at the Florida Snow Company cart which sells yummy shaved ice.
For those not in the know, shaved (or shave) ice is a Hawaiian ice-based dessert made by shaving a block of ice and flavoring it with syrup and other sweet ingredients. (Similar to snow cones, which are made with crushed ice).
I am longing to visit Hawaii, and until that day comes, I have to get my fill of shaved ice from a cart at Disney Springs!
Now, from the receipt I have, it says we spent $17, but I only have one photo of a snow cone, which looks like a 3-Flavor Flower Cup.
I am only going to guess, based on the flavors that I got Wild Cherry, Sweet Florida Lime, and Grape Guzzler for $5.16.
If Steve also had shaved ice, we don’t remember or have photographic evidence. And the only way I can see (from the menu online) is that we bought a couple of packets of Cinnamon-glazed Fresh Roasted Nuts ($5.16) and the rest is sales tax? We will never know…!
