Tree of Life

We ventured into Asia next to go on the Maharajah Jungle Trek – a self-guided walking tour of Southeast Asia, home to tigers, bats, monkeys, and a komodo dragon.

I feel like this is a bit of a hidden gem at Animal Kingdom and one of those things that gets overlooked. If you enjoy animal exhibits then you simply must check it out.

The giant bats are amazing to see – they live up to their name that is for sure! And the tigers are just so majestic – beautiful creatures.

The whole area is themed so well with murals, artifacts and flags. I personally love how it all looks and could hang out here all day long.

Towards the end of the trek is an aviary with over 50 species of birds – another very pretty area!

Between the entrance to Maharajah Jungle Trek and Kali River Rapids is the Gibbons exhibit where you’ll find two species of gibbon swinging amongst the ruins.
