Wow – if they’re vintage glass blocks they may be more susceptible to breaking than the ones that are built for this sort of craft? Is there a local builder’s merchants who might be able to help drill through?

I have a problem. I have in my possession 4 glass blocks that came from my high school which was built in 1954. My husband and I have cleaned them – removed all the mortar, etc and they turned out beautifully. I want to fill them with something and give one to each of my childen. My problem is that I cannot find anyone who will drill a hole into the bottom of the glass so that I can insert something into them. HELP!
