BABY Secrets is new on the scene and brings exciting characters with big personalities. From painter baby complete with a paintbrush, to party baby with a sash and a party hat, they each come ready to share their own secrets. Find out if your baby is a boy or a girl by filling the bath tub with water and dipping your baby in. Either way, the adorable characters are all waiting to be discovered with their mischievous and playful designs.
Collectible toys have become very popular over the last few years. They’re pocket money priced so that children can afford them, and they can work with friends, swapping to complete their collection. The latest to join the craze are these ever so cute BABY Secrets collectible dolls! My roving reporter, my niece Sephy and I have been unboxing them and putting them to the test!
My five year old niece loves dolls, and she loves little toys too – the BABY Secrets range are just perfect for her! We were sent two BABY Secrets Activity Packs and two BABY Secrets Single Packs. The latter being the mystery/surprise bag/box type thing that has the collector in me both excited to see what’s inside, and if we have that one already, or twitch because we can’t see what’s inside and we might already have it! But boy am I a sucker for a blind mystery box!
BABY Secrets Single Pack – RRP £2.99
The BABY Secrets Single Pack is the perfect way to start your collection, complete with one baby, one bath tub, birth certificate and collector’s guide.
Check out the short video below of Sephy opening up the single packs, and see the baby dolls we got inside! We then filled up a tub with water to find out if they were boys or girls! You also get a surprise pack inside the BABY Secrets Activity Packs. The video shows four being unboxed, and a total of eight dolls in all with the others from the activity packs.
Each BABY Secrets doll comes with a birth certificate which you can fill in. And the single packs has a guide for you to keep track of which ones you have, and which ones you don’t. In the single packs they’re divided into Common, Rare, and Ultra-Rare – 5 different babies in each, and you can get both boy and girl. There is also a Limited Edition baby – with a furry hat on. Sephy got lucky and found the cute little limited edition one with a furry koala hat on, as well as an ultra-rare (the snorkelling baby) and two common ones.
BABY Secrets Activity Packs – RRP £12.99
The BABY Secrets Activity Packs come in four different varieties:
- Pram Pack
- Bassinet Pack
- High Chair Pack
- Rocking Horse Pack
Each activity pack has exclusive babies – so you have to buy all four sets if you want them all. There is also Limited Edition baby that you can get inside the activity packs only – a cute little baby with a yellow rain hat on.
Inside each pack is the two exclusive [to that pack] babies, as well as an accessory – pram, bassinet, high chair or rocking horse. You also receive a single surprise pack, as well as birth certificates, and collector’s guide.
The baby dolls are really cute. I really like them! It is fun to put them in the water to see what colour the nappy will be. I got lots of girl babies, and not many boy babies! – Sephy, aged 5
From an adult’s point of view, they are a cute little toy. The big baby eyes make them super adorable! I think the price point is just about right for both the single and activity packs. They are sturdy and feel well made. This is just Series 1, so I expect to see more variations of Baby Secrets in the future!
BABY Secrets are available to buy from The Entertainer, Argos, Smyths, and Toymaster.
