Forty Before 40
Home » Lifestyle »I started compiling a list of things I want to do by the time I’m 40 years old (September 2016), and finally, have the list finished! It’s harder than I thought it would be, but once I started writing, there were lots more things that didn’t make it :D I wanted to include everything that I felt would be achievable during the next 14 months till I’m 40! So here it is in all its glory…

What a great list. It is interesting as I have started thinking of things myself and the lists are very different. I hope you achieve all of them.

Love this! The last one is the best. You are good enough, and then some! I would love to stay in a tree house too. I am sure you will tick every one of them off huni. Thanks for linking up with #TheList xxx

Popping over from #TheList. Great list. You’re going to have a busy time but will be great fun. I’ve just done a 40th Birthday present of 40 Things Beginning with B (the recipient’s initial). That was a challenge! I might have to do a similar list as my 40th in a couple of years but will soon come around. Enjoy ticking all the things off your list!

Busy is definitely the word there! That sounds like a fun present – but I agree, I bet it was a challenge! x

What a brilliant list – such a great idea to put them all out there. Good luck getting them ticked off!

I hope I can start ticking them off soon and definitely by my 40th (with the exception of maybe one or two that may well be a bit out of my reach!!)

Great idea to make a list – there’s nothing like a milestone birthday for helping us focus! Maybe you could stay in a 5 start hotel for your 40th birthday to celebrate? Tick an item off your list!! x

Ooh, that’s a good one! The original plan was to do a road trip across the USA for my 40th – but we’re not sure if it is going to happen due to my husband’s job/redundancy… it’ll just be deferred :D x

Fab list. I’m already well up with number 1, but could do with ticking off some of your list. I especially like the idea of cooking something from every one of my cookbooks, and number 18 sounds good too.

I’ve got so many cookbooks it’s ridiculous! I’m going to have to start cooking soon or I won’t get through them all! I need to find that sweet middle of nowhere and just do it!

That is a fantastic idea, you have just inspired me to write a list too. I don’t hit 40 till November 2018 but I have so many things I’d love to do!
Number 6 we are doing next October too and I’d like to do Mickey’s Halloween party too!
Hope you manage to get them all ticked off!
Great post!
