If you read my blog regularly, you may have seen some of my previous Fungi Friday posts where I’ve shared photographs of various ‘shrooms I’ve seen when out and about. There is something magical about finding a mushroom/toadstool/fungi in the wild (I don’t know the difference, I really should learn) and to me it’s like a little treasure hunt to forage them out when I go out walking. I have a ‘Shrooms set on Flickr if you’d like to see some of my older photos in this subject.

I really do find them anywhere, and this week’s set of 3 are proof of that!

This first mushroom was tiny, I spotted it growing in the grass next to our car when we were away in Romney Sands, Kent last weekend.

This second one I spied when we were walking around our resort, Disney’s Old Key West in Orlando, Florida. I laughed when I saw it and said to my husband “see, I spot them everywhere!”

And this final patch of fungi I saw when we were coming off Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World!

Fungi Friday 3

Mushrooms, toadstools, ‘shrooms, fungi…whatever they’re called, I just love finding them when out walking in the forest! It’s like I’ve found a little treasure! Oh, the simple things in life! :)
