…Continued from Part 5…
Into Fantasyland next. No Fastpasses for Seven Dwarves Mine Train today – I wasn’t going to fit it anyway, judging by a plus size rider guide on another forum, but I insisted the boys go on it – they didn’t. I wish that they had… we didn’t even venture anywhere near it – or much of the new Fantasyland either – regrets, I have many from this trip as far as seeing stuff is concerned.
The Tangled area always makes me smile – mainly because it’s just the loos! I so wish they would do more for newer Disney films – I know the classics makes them the money, but with newer generations, I think new attractions are in order! And not just Anna and Elsa!
The next showing of Mickey’s PhilarMagic was about to start, so we dashed in there as we decided to call it a day – we were all quite tired by now and wanted to have a bit of a chill out before our dinner reservation at Narcoossee’s at the Grand Floridian Resort.
Mickey’s PhilarMagic is a 3D show, and is just fantastic! I love the music from various different Disney movies, and the 3D effects are particularly good on this one. I also love when the side screens open up and it really feels like you are moving! Every time, on this holiday, that I saw Genie, I did have a little sad – with the loss of Robin Williams just days before…silly I know. He was a great actor ♥
On our way towards the back of Cinderella Castle, Liam decided he wanted to have a photo of him trying to pull the Sword in the Stone, so of course, I obliged his request! We then walked round the front, and a time check told me that Dream Along with Mickey would be starting very soon, so I suggested we just sit down and wait for the show to start!
Dream Along with Mickey is the one thing, that now tells me I am really there – it is by far my favourite show at Walt Disney World, and I get tears in my eyes every time I watch it! Whilst waiting, this little guy just didn’t give a duck, and then the music started!

What camera did you use? You got some great shots. We sat in front of the castle one morning, made friends with lots of ducks.

Thanks! I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200. They love to just wander about don’t they?!
