What is ADR day? Well, it’s Advance Dining Reservation where you book your time slots for one of the Walt Disney World table service restaurants. Since we are on a Disney Dining Plan for this years holiday to Orlando we will be making lots of ADRs! The window opens at 11am, so I’m going to be sat at the computer booking all of our planned restaurants – can’t wait! In fact, I’m going to do a little dance!

And here are the restaurants that we have planned…

Breakfasts:

  • Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)
  • Cape May Cafe (Disney’s Beach Club)
  • Olivia’s Cafe (Old Key West Resort)
  • Boma: Flavours of Africa (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
  • ‘Ohana (Polynesian Resort)
  • Akershus Royal Banquet (Norway Pavilion, Epcot World Showcase)
  • Trail’s End (Fort Wilderness Resort)
  • Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom)
  • 1900s Park Fare (Grand Floridian Resort)
  • Chef Mickey’s (Contemporary Resort)

Lunches:

  • Tusker House (Animal Kingdom)
  • Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom)
  • Sci Fi Diner (Disney Hollywood Studios)
  • 50s Prime Time Cafe (Disney Hollywood Studios)

Dinners:

  • House of Blues (Downtown Disney)
  • Narcoosee’s (Grand Floridian Resort)
  • Kouzzina by Cat Cora (Disney’s Boardwalk)
  • Mickey’s Backyard BBQ (Fort Wilderness Resort)
  • Sanaa (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
  • Flying Fish Cafe (Disney’s Boardwalk)
  • Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (Polynesian Resort)
  • Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge)
  • Hoop De Doo Revue (Fort Wilderness Resort)
  • Cape May Cafe (Disney’s Beach Club)
  • Jiko The Cooking Place (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
  • Yachtsman Steakhouse (Disney’s Yacht Club)
  • Restaurant Marrakesh (Morocco Pavilion, Epcot World Showcase)
  • California Grill (Grand Floridian Resort)

We’re trying to do as many restaurants that we’ve not eaten at before, but some of our favourites have snuck in! As we are using a Deluxe Dining Plan with lots of credits to use up, we plan to book several Signature Dining experiences and Dinner Shows as they are worth 2 credits each. We also want to be able to sneak in a couple of different quick counter service eats in, if we can – and if we can walk off all the food!! This trip is all about Disney and the dining, and it may be the only time we stay on resort so plan to make the most of it!
I’ll be back to let you know which ones we managed to book* ^_^ Whispering Canyon Cafe is book already as our friends are able to do their ADRs already and we’re eating together that evening!!
