Continuing on from my trip report for Day 7 – I Can Show You The World here is through China!

Our next adventure round Epcot World Showcase was into China, by now the light was starting to fade (still as hot as ever!) but it didn’t stop our tour! We made a beeline for Reflections of China – another 360° film.

There was a little time before the next showing of the film, so we marvelled at the ceiling which was just stunning…

…saw where Mulan does her meet and greet….

…and then walked around the room that had some Terracotta Warriors…

So into the theatre we went for the 14 minute film, which again was interesting to watch and another tick on our list of things to do around Epcot World Showcase! You watch this whilst standing so that you can see all around you, again, I felt a little on the queasy side because of the way it is filmed, so all of those with motion sickness beware of the films in Epcot World Showcase!

The theatre exit goes into a gift shop where we took a little look around at the souvenirs on sale including gorgeous dragon statues, Buddhas and paper lanterns.

By now, it’s around 7 ish and people were starting to hug the railings around the lake to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, so I suggested to Steve that we perhaps start doing the same. It’s amazing how time flies! We still had Mexico, Canada and the UK to visit, but they were going to have to wait for another day now!

We had wanted to see The Jewelled Dragon Acrobats, but we missed seeing them – something for next time. There is also a restaurant in the China pavilion as well as a café and I think, a tea shop too? For those who think there is nothing to do in Epcot, our day here proves otherwise!

Next…[a quick stop!] to Norway and Mexico!
